Since the age of ten, when I first began my passion for rock climbing, I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of rocks. Back when I was in high school, I developed my passion to work with stone. With the approval of my ceramics teacher, I often spent class time working with rocks on a nearby hillside. Eventually, I discovered the secrets to the construction of the arch. One of my pieces stood for over 18 months, a period brought to a close by the construction of a new classroom. From this hillside, my work with stone has spread across the western US, to places rarely seen.
