Bench grinder. Completely necessary for perfecting all of the patch panels. Stone and wire wheel. |

The tubing that will be used to create the "ribs" in the footwell. This will be a patch with new challenges. |

Tubing mocked up as a rib. The Tubing diameter was too small, so I used a 1/2" solid bar as a mandrel upon which to open the tubing. |

I use poster paper to help me create the patch pieces. Start with a tracing. |

Cut it out. Transfer to steel. Cut it out. Fit with bench grinder. |

Repairing this hole will require 4 separate patch pieces. 2 ribs and 2 flats. One of each are visible here. |

All tacked in place. Special attention must be paid to get a good fit for each tack. |
