'69 Bulkhead Refurbishment
The goal for this project is to put an all metal dash bulkhead into my '72 SIII. The SIII comes with an ugly (my opinion) plastic and vinyl dash. The IIa and older models have a beautiful, utilitarian style of dash composed entirely of steel and aluminum. The '69 bulkhead pictured below is from a late IIa. The bulkhead was in horrible shape when I purchased it, a prior owner had attacked it with a torch, burning larges holes out everywhere. This project started in mid June of '07.
