It seems to fit well. I left extra material on top so that I could trim it just right. |

The ends of the patch panel have been tacked together. I used the torch to match the curves and create the curved bend. Lots of work with the hammer, dolly, torch, and wet rag. |

Unfortunately I didn't leave enough material on this end of the patch piece. The problem was solved by building up my tack welds to fill the void. |

This is how the void was filled. It is important to work slowly to minimize the heat input. Too much heat and the resulting warping will make a mess of the work. |
